The categories

These cannot be switched off, because the site cannot function without them. They do not require your consent.

These help us see which pages people use, where they leave, and what is not working. We use this to decide what to fix and what to write about. Off by default. They load only if you allow them.
Marketing
These let us show relevant advertising on other websites and measure whether that advertising worked. They may be set by advertising platforms and can be used to build a profile of your interests across sites. Off by default. They load only if you allow them.
Changing your mind
Use Cookie Settings in the footer. Your new choice takes effect immediately. Turning off a category stops the relevant scripts from running.
You can also manage cookies in your browser settings, including deleting existing ones. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the site from working.
Third parties
Analytics and marketing cookies are set by third party providers who process the data for their own purposes as well as ours. Their own privacy policies apply.
